Quality
Internet Recruiting

Employer
As the owner operator of Laurino's Tavern in
Brewster I wear many hats from dishwasher to bartender. Hiring is always a challenge
especially for a destination restaurant like mine. I have explored many
ways to ease the hiring crunch for the Summer Season from hiring internationally to
newspaper ads but dollar for dollar the most successful has been through the internet
specifically Cape Cod Employer.com.
College students start looking for work opportunities early, they want to get
their summers planned. They go straight to the Internet & start looking.
This works for me because I post every job I can think of with a link to my web
site. When they get to town they come to me first instead of my competition, which
is just about everybody during the summer.
I also have had success off-season. I recently posted a job & hired for that
position within 2 days from the day I posted because they saw it on the Internet. I
had 3 good applicants all from the computer screen & they let you know they saw the ad
on the Internet so it's easy to track where the apps are coming from.
Now all I need is cheap housing.
Thanks,

I've always been a fan of
CapeCodEmployer.Com ever since its startup because it is a local business offering a local
service. Every month there are improvements in this website for employers and for
job seekers. It only gets better and more useful. I represent a mid-size
employer on Cape Cod and there is never enough time to recruit effectively, yet that
is one of the most important things that we must do to continue to offer quality services
to Cape Cod families.
I smile when I get an Internet job
inquiry, because I didnt have to work very hard to get it! People at every
professional and non-professional level dial up and click in. We really reach a very
diverse population, many from out of state, all with a singular interest in working in the
Cape area. We are also connected with people who make general inquiries regarding
career changes or returning to the workforce. We can respond with both general and
specific information. That kind of dialogue doesnt happen with a newspaper ad,
so listing our positions on CapeCodEmployer.Com is an integral part of our overall
recruitment efforts.
