We are currently seeking an HVAC Engineer to work on site in the Providence area. Applicants must have a thorough understanding of the principles of HVAC systems design. Duties will include performing equipment startup and system demonstration under the umbrella of commissioning, facility condition assessments, and energy corrective work on site. Exposure to electrical, fire protection and plumbing disciplines helpful for coordination of trades.
Prior experience 10 years in the design of mechanical building systems for a variety of building types is required as well as a BSME engineering degree. Must be proficient in HVAC design and energy retrofits. Will travel to job sites and when required stay overnight(s) while working at job site. Candidates should also be proficient in the operation of computer systems including Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel, and AutoCAD 2005 or above. Strong project and construction management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
